GP Notebook
GP Notebook is an online resource for medical practitioners and serves as an encyclopaedia of medical information extracted from literature reviews, original research articles and guidelines published by national and international bodies.
Black Pig was approached by GP Notebook to make the service mobile by implementing the comprehensive database into a format viewable by PDAs, which could also be loaded onto a flash memory card thus removing the need for an internet connection.
The PDA version of GP Notebook is optimised for viewing on a small screen whilst making use of the company’s innovative search algorithms, making it easy for practitioners to use no matter where they are.
Black Pig also provided GP Notebook with a range of bespoke web templates to enable them to beautify the existing website whilst keeping its search functions and transferring data seamlessly.
